Meco fmsci National Karting Championship X30 class 2021
The Meco FMSCI National Karting Championship X30 Class 2021 were held at 1.2km Meco Kartopia in Bengaluru. There are three categories where National champions are decided, namely Senior, Junior and Cadet. FMSCI, the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs in India, also conducts Rotax Max Karting Nationals, also in three class. So every year six National champions emerge from Karting National events.
Meco Kartopia in the only FMSCI homologated track in Bengaluru that was approved to conduct National races in karting from June 2015. National Karting champion Yash Aradhya holds the lap record at Meco Kartopia at 54.117 seconds in 2017 (Editor note: The record is later broken). Born on 17 August 2002, Aradhya shifted base to Europe in 2021 to study and plan for his Formula-4 races. The track has also seen the likes of Narain Karthikeyan, Arjun Maini, Kush Maini take to the track and produced many talented youngsters like Shahan Ali Mohsin, Ishaan Madesh and Rajiv Rishon.
