Mumbai Falcons podium on debut; Jehan third, Kush bumped out

Mumbai Falcons earn F3 Asia podium, on debut with Jehan Daruvala finishhing 3rd while Kush Maini had a forgettable race as he was bumped into in the very first lap in the Asia F3 championship in Dubai.

Jehan started 4th and had to take evasive action at the start after being cut off by a driver ahead. He then had to defend during the 1st lap, but recovered and soon overtook another driver.

With a car right on his tail, Jehan could not make up further places. He eventually finished 3rd to earn Mumbai Falcons their first maiden F3 podium on debut.

Kush Maini had a forgettable race. He was hit by another car on lap 1. He had to pit to change a tyre, which put him right at the back of the field. He clocked the 2nd fastest lap of the race and will therefore start 2nd in Race 2, tomorrow.
