Dhruva Chandrasekhar hogs the limelight: INAC

Vijayawada, 11 Jan 2020: Dhruva Chandrasekhar of Andhra Pradesh Tourism on MRF Tyres won his class in the finals of the Indian National Autocross Championship 2019 held for the first time in Andhra Pradesh at Pavithra Sangaman near Ibrahimpatnam here on Saturday.

Closely behind the leader is Arjun Rao, also of Andhra Tourism, on MRF Tyres. As many as 60 cars took part in the race on the day one, which witnessed a close contest among MRF Tyres, JK Tyres, Snap Racing, and Arka Motorsport teams.

There would be a local touch to the high-voltage racing contest as Ibrahimpatnam’s teenager Tejas would be taking part on his Tata Safari.

Earlier, Minister for tourism Avanti Srinivasa Rao inaugurated the sporting event.
